Where to Get the Best Geeky Merch

about picture

I know I know it’s been forever since there’s been a new post I’ve been recovering from my tonsil/adenoidectomy which has been the roughest surgery of my life but I will do a whole post on that once I’m completely better. I wanted to do this post because once I started to make money of my own and could buy the things I wanted I found it difficult to find geeky merch so I’m just going to list the places I frequent for all that nerdy goodness. It’s not a long or in depth post just a short list.

1. thinkgeek.com

Thinkgeek is a great site for gifts when it comes to Christmas or birthdays it is my go to. It has everything from cook books, caffeine products for those late night gamers, tee’s and things for your office or house. Whether you’re a zombie or star wars lover it has everything to suit your taste.

2. Hot Topic

I don’t know about you but Hot Topic really irks me for some reason. It’s not what it was when I was younger and I find it odd that there are one direction items for sale there. Not sure why but it bothers me anyway this is where I get most of my anime shirts. You just have to be on the look out for theย  good ones I’ve seen many meh shirts but I have gotten some pretty awesome Naruto shirts that aren’t of the chibi variety not that there is anything wrong with chibi but sometimes I want badass battle scene shirts. Also they have a good variety of Harry Potter, pokemon and some decent gaming shirts. This isn’t geeky but it’s also where I get most of my band shirts for the older original style like rhcp and things like that.

3. Etsy

I have gotten a shirt from etsy but I haven’t bought personally anything geeky from this site but while I’m bored I do like to “window shop” and you can find very unique items and most are handmade. Support small business!

4. Teefury

I have bought so many shirts from teefury that I’ve lost count. For the price you can’t beat it and you won’t usually find another person with the same shirt or I haven’t yet anyway. I’ve gotten many Harry Potter, Zelda, Final Fantasy, pokemon and even the goonies shirts. Sometimes it does take awhile to get your shirt but I mean you’ve lived your whole life without is thus far and it’s incredibly cheap for the quality I don’t mind waiting.

These are all I can think of for now but if I think of any more I will add to this post and I hope you found it helpful.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

So, if you’re a geek who likes to show that off with your clothing you’ll most likely love the T-shirt designs at http://www.teeturtle.com . I wanted to mention this website because I often check that with http://www.teefury.com to see what sort of new geeky shirts are available.

Oh, and because I bought one..

I love my new Bulba-shirt.ย  ๐Ÿ˜€ย  I’ve never found anything specifically Bulbasaur because people tend to love Charmander and Squirtle more. However, I’m a Bulba-Fan all the way! โค

..But for you Charmander and Squirtle fans, there are pocket monster shirts just like this but with them featured. These shirts are soft, nice quality, and stretchy. (Which is important for girls, haha.)

Calling all geeks!

If you are open about your geekery, then I have a website that is a must-see!

This website features an exclusive t-shirt every day for insanely great prices, and they take submitted art to be used on said t-shirt. So you have tons of different artists submitting various geeky images to be put on t-shirts, bought by you, and then worn by you!

I have yet to make any purchases, but I can tell you that I have kept an eye on the website and I’ve seen a lot of designs that I wished I would’ve bought.

Kelly can certainly expand on this post, I’m sure, as she owns several of their shirts! Expect to hear from her soon. ๐Ÿ˜€
