Yesterday I went shopping with some friends and I wanted to show you guys my outfit. Britney and I have touched on makeup but not much of fashion which is a big part of being girly. My style is girly with an edge. I love pastels and florals mixed with things like spikes and combat boots 🙂
Now this wasn’t a part of my outfit but I was excited about it and wanted to show you guys my new spike headband from forever 21 that I got while shopping it is about $4.oo and there is also a neon yellow green one available.
And here’s a picture of me and my girl. Now onto the outfit!
My dress is from Charlotte Russe it was on sale and was about $10.00. The dress is way too short to wear on it’s own and I’m right under 5ft and it’s that short on a tall girl it would be a shirt lol. So underneath I wore my american eagle midi shorts they were $24.00 I believe and should still be available. My purse came from Betsey Johnson I bought it from her website it’s originally $88.00 but I got it on sale for 49.98 but is now $59.98 and comes in many beautiful colors. I got the black to go with everything but the mint is very pretty. The bow bracelet is from charming charlies and is $10.00. I got it while I was shopping yesterday and it matched my outfit so I wore it 🙂 The turquoise spike bracelet came from forever 21. I got it last year and it was about $2.00. Thanks for reading.
Today is Make-Up Monday! 🙂 I decided that I wanted to do a flower/garden type look with rose colors and greens. I sort of experimented the whole way through so forgive me if some steps include a little more.
I put on foundation, powder, and blush before.
First step is applying an eye shadow base. I use Urban Decay‘s.
Apply a light lavender or pink to the inside corners of your eyes and beneath your brows.
Apply light green to your eyelid.
Blend a light golden brown and dark golden brown above the green.
At the outside corner of your eye on your eyelid, I blended in a dark green. Right above that I blended in a dark purple.
Apply orange in between the dark purple and the lavender for a pop of color.
Take a fine tipped brush and apply your eye shadow base to your bottom lid. Clean the brush. Take that brush and apply dark purple from your tear duct to just past the circle of your eye. From there, apply dark green to the outer corner. I chose to go further to create a green wing of shadow.
I wanted more color so I applied a medium purple in between the orange and the dark purple to blend it better and show more purple. I also drew a thin line of dark brown liquid liner across the top eyelid and arched it at the end for a small wing.
I hope you like it!
I decided to play it up some more by curling my hair in tight coils, adding lipstick, and a very cute rosy pink dress I bought at Ross.
The gallery below has the pictures that I took after!
